The Welcome Public Engagement Programme
CUH Arts
I was invited by CUH Arts to help devise a public engagement programme to support the development of a new public art commission for the Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital. I supported lead artist Ivan Morison to initiate and deliver a suite of workshops and creative engagement sessions for people with experience of oncology care. The engagement programme was designed to share natural clay and glaze processes and shape the look and feel of the final commission.
My role involved the coordination of workshops with Wysing Arts Centre and Kettle’s Yard and developing workshop content with Ivan Morison and ceramicist Matthew Blakely.
I then supported Arts Producer Alice Woodhouse to curate an exhibition sharing the material investigations and processes explored. This can be viewed online here.
